2009 was the year of 3D digital cinema. With the number of digital projectors being installed in cinemas slowing the arrival of 3D sent owners back to their cheque books for a new generation of filmmaking that brought films into the third dimension.
From Coraline to James Cameron's groundbreaking Avatar - 2009 is a watershed. Or is it. Is 3D cinema a blip in commercial, just the opportunity for big Hollywood producers or is there something there for all filmmakers to look to.
We will explore the new world and opportunities with filmmakers and the equipment suppliers. Are you a part of this world.
